Sign up for our 7-Day All-Breed Dog Training Workshop—suitable for beginner and professional dog trainers. We will teach you how you can earn true mutual respect with your dog, no matter how difficult their behavior is, helping you get the most out of any activities you want to do with your dog. Our dog training programs will also teach you about agility, obedience, dock diving, rallying, fieldwork, barn hunting, and conformation or creating the ultimate companion. We designed this workshop to help us identify the obvious and subtle areas for improvement in your training and handling skills. With our help, you’ll turn these weak areas into strong ones and achieve your desired results. Contact us today to learn more about our services. You may also follow us on social media to see more of our work.
Our Approach
- We have been in business since 1999, and we recognize that traditional training techniques don't work on well bred, primitive, instinctive show and performance dogs. They are not simple companion dogs, so owners need to learn how to use their pets' instincts to their advantage to become a working team.
- At K9-World, you will learn how to establish a bond, solve the simplest and most complex dog problems, and learn how you can communicate with the most stubborn, headstrong dogs. Eric will mentor you with the help of a team that is willing to work for you in all areas and at any level of experience.
- We don't encourage dog owners to copy how others train their canines because it might not work. Check out our Testimonials page to read our previous clients' feedback about our approach and stories of great accomplishments, whether they are beginners or professionals. Many said that before their workshop with us, nobody could fix the problems they had with their dogs during events. Watch the videos on the Official Eric Salas Training Channel on YouTube to see more of what we do.

Confirmation and Registration
Once you receive the confirmation email for our workshop, please email us, providing your name, phone number, email address, and the breed of dog you plan on bringing to the workshop. You will then be officially registered for the workshop.
First Day of Class/Schedule
Please be at the training venue between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. on the first day of class for registration. Upon your arrival, you will be asked to fill out paperwork, crate your dog, and take a seat in the classroom. We start our classes at 9:00 a.m. promptly and will generally run until 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. There is a lunch break each day around noon and another two 30-minute breaks during the day. Just like a ring time, we will need to begin our classes with or without you.
Practice Time
After day one, we will open the building for you at 8:00 a.m. You can enter the building and practice and ask questions before our class starts. You can also use the 30-minute breaks and lunch to practice. You'll learn simple and complex skills with your dog, so it will be advantageous for you to practice as much as possible.
Water and Lunches
We recommend that you bring drinks/water and snacks for both you and your dog because there may not be enough time to go out for lunch during the break. Pretend you are at a dog show with no snack bar. Some facilities have restaurants nearby, but be prepared for at least day one.
Training Treats
Eric Salas's top choice for training treats is Northwest Naturals. We will provide them to you for free and will not sell them at the workshop. You can instead visit the Northwest Naturals website to find a retailer near you in case you wish to buy the same training treats we use.
Homework
We will assign homework before the workshop begins and some nights of the workshop. Through the homework, you will learn more about your dog's breed, their physique, and other important information to help you present them to the judges. This will create more confidence and help create the "it" factor that makes all the difference in competition.
Communication and Support
Eric learned that success is greater by being a part of a supportive community, so we accomplish this using a group chat on WhatsApp. This is where we share information, ask questions, continue discussions, share accomplishments, collaborate on research, and support each other.
This is also where you can receive free online follow-up instruction with Eric for one month with two-day workshops, six months with seven-day workshops, and a lifetime with MasterClass workshops. This is contingent on your positive participation and respect for all members of the group.

However, you may also call or email us if you need an alternative way of contacting us.

Reminders:
- You will only need grooming items for the last five days of a seven-day or MasterClass workshop. This includes tools, a table, a dryer, etc. Grooming tools will be available for sale at the workshop, or you can purchase them on our Grooming Tools page. We also sell training leads and flat link collars on our Leashes and Collars page.
- All dogs must be crated during the workshop unless you are working. This is to ensure safety and to maximize their breaks.
- We also encourage you to bring a comfortable show chair in case you don't like the one at our facility. There will be chairs at the facility, but they are often the metal fold-up types that are uncomfortable to sit in for an extended period of time.
Cancellation Policy
We do not provide refunds or allow cancellations. It is expensive to run these workshops, and just like a dog show, there are no refunds. These workshops sell out extremely fast, and many people must make arrangements in advance, so it is difficult to sell a spot as the date gets closer. You may sell your spot to a qualified and approved participant if you can't attend.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to attend the two- or seven-day workshops. However, you need to complete either a two- or seven-day workshop to be allowed to attend the last five days of a seven-day workshop. Also, you must attend a full seven-day training to be approved for enrolling in the MasterClass.
